Healthy Low Fat Hare Parathas

  • 1/2 cup boiled green peas
  • 2 spoon Water
  • 1 spoon low fat curd
  • 1 spoon Green chilli
  • 1/8 spoon Celery Powder
  • salt
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour


  • Add 1/2 cup boiled peas and 2 tbsp water in the mixer and mix well.
  • Take out the ground peas in a mixing bowl and add 1 tbsp low fat curd, 1 tbsp green chillies, 1/8 tsp carom seeds powder, required amount of salt and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour.
  • Slowly knead for 5 minutes or until you have a smooth, elastic dough. (Should not be sticky, add very little flour if it sticks to your hands.)
  • Lightly flour your rolling surface.
  • With the help of rolling pin, roll out the dough as thin and evenly as possible. (There should be no small holes!)
  • Heat your flat surface pan/pan/stone till you feel heat by placing your palm on it.
  • Place 1 chapati on the pan to roast, making sure it is flat without any folds.
  • Serve with homemade curd and pickle
